Please read this policy carefully before booking a service or purchasing a digital product from Horizon Travel Experiences.
At Horizon Travel Experiences, we are committed to providing exceptional service and curated travel experiences. We understand that plans can change, and we want to be as transparent and fair as possible in how we handle refunds, cancellations, and service adjustments. Please read this policy in full before completing any purchase or booking. By booking a service or purchasing a product from Horizon Travel Experiences, you agree to the terms outlined here.
All travel service bookings require a deposit to secure your reservation. Deposits vary by trip type and are communicated during your consultation. The following applies to all deposits and payments made for travel services.
- All deposits are non-refundable. Deposits are used to secure travel arrangements, hold reservations, and compensate for the planning time invested on your behalf.
- Partial payments made under a payment plan are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in your individual booking agreement.
- Full payments are non-refundable once travel has commenced or within the final payment window outlined in your booking agreement.
If you need to cancel your trip, please notify us in writing via email as soon as possible. Refund eligibility is based on how far in advance of your departure date the cancellation is received. The following table outlines our cancellation policy.
Refund decisions are also subject to the cancellation policies of individual travel suppliers including airlines, resorts, and hotels. Supplier policies may be more restrictive than our own and we are not able to override them on your behalf.
We understand that circumstances change. If you need to modify your travel dates, destination, or passenger details, please contact us as early as possible. The following applies to all requested changes.
- Date changes are subject to availability and may result in price differences based on updated supplier rates. Any increase in cost is the responsibility of the client.
- Changes requested within 30 days of departure may not be possible and are not guaranteed.
- A modification fee may apply for changes that require significant replanning or rebooking on our part. This fee will be communicated before any changes are processed.
- Name changes on airline tickets are subject to airline policies and may incur fees charged directly by the airline.
In rare circumstances, Horizon Travel Experiences may need to cancel or significantly modify a trip due to events outside of our control including but not limited to natural disasters, government travel advisories, supplier closures, or force majeure events.
- In the event that we cancel a trip, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible and work to offer an alternative date, destination, or a full refund of payments made directly to Horizon Travel Experiences.
- We are not responsible for additional costs you may incur such as flights booked independently, non-refundable accommodations outside our booking, or other personal expenses.
- Supplier refunds are subject to the individual supplier cancellation policy and may take additional time to process.
All digital products sold by Horizon Travel Experiences including travel guides, planning workbooks, checklists, and any other downloadable content are non-refundable. This policy exists because digital products are delivered instantly and cannot be returned once accessed or downloaded.
We are committed to the quality of our digital products. If you experience a technical issue accessing or downloading your product, please contact us within 48 hours of purchase at tiffany_emerson@yahoo.com and we will resolve the issue promptly.
- Technical issues such as a broken download link or delivery failure are resolved at no cost to the client.
- Dissatisfaction with content, a change of mind, or failure to read the product description before purchase does not qualify for a refund.
- If a product is found to be materially different from its description, please contact us and we will review the concern on a case-by-case basis.
Where applicable, Horizon Travel Experiences charges a planning or consultation fee for our advisory services. These fees compensate for the time, research, and expertise provided on your behalf.
- Planning and consultation fees are non-refundable once services have begun, regardless of whether a booking is ultimately completed.
- If you choose not to proceed with a booking after a consultation, the consultation fee will not be refunded.
- Fee amounts are communicated clearly before any service agreement is initiated.
If you believe you are eligible for a refund based on the terms outlined in this policy, or if you have a concern about a service or product, please contact us in writing using the information below. All refund requests must be submitted via email.
- Include your full name, booking or order details, and the reason for your request in your email.
- All requests are reviewed within 5 to 7 business days of receipt.
- Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method and may take 5 to 10 business days to appear depending on your financial institution.
- We reserve the right to decline refund requests that do not meet the eligibility criteria outlined in this policy.
Horizon Travel Experiences reserves the right to update or modify this refund and service policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. The date at the top of this page reflects when the policy was last updated. We encourage you to review this page before making any purchase or booking.
